Your privacy on the map

We never show your exact address. On Discover, everyone shows only at the city level — the center of the city, not your house. Even if you turn on "use my location," we only use it to find your city.

Protect your info

• Don't share your home address, host family's address, or the kids' full names.
• Don't send money to anyone you met here.
• Don't share your password with anyone — not even a friend.
• Use a strong password. Turn on two-factor login on your email.

Meeting in person

• Meet in a public place first — a café, park, or mall.
• Tell a friend or your host family where you are going.
• Keep your phone charged. Trust your gut — if it feels wrong, leave.

Block someone

Open the person's profile and tap the "…" menu, then Block. They won't see you and you won't see them — anywhere on Au Pair Pro. No one is told when you block someone.

Report a person, post, or comment

Use the "…" menu on any profile, post, or comment and choose Report. Tell us what happened. A real person on our team will read it, usually within a day.

If you feel unsafe right now, call 911 (USA emergency). You can also call your agency's 24-hour line — they are there to help you.
